Founders
Maya Ahkami
Maya is a mother of three who has spent the last fourteen years within children related industries. She graduated from BCITs Entrepreneurship program and completed her Bachelors at Royal Roads University in Victoria.
Maya brings a natural desire to investigate and resolve learning issues for children. Her passion is to give opportunities to every child and bring forward methods that will make them successful in their future.
Shahryar Ahkami
Shahryar has worked in the childcare industry for over thirteen years. As an SFU grad he has focused his energies on working with youth in both academic and sporting activities.
He enjoys watching learners adopt and implement new ideas and helps them build the understanding around new topics.

Ivy Learning is looking to help every learner get on a direction for success that will enable them to have the confidence in their strengths and the ability to overcome their weaknesses.
Our Teachers
We focus on love and compassion, to help every learner get the most out of their time. Our staff helps each learner focus on the material to learn new information and to easily understand complicated ideas.
Our staff are trained to effectively listen, identify and point each learner in the right direction. They take pride in the process in uncovering new learning topics with each learner, and rejoice in the success in mastering subject material.
Our Process
For too long in traditional schools students had to work on repetitive coursework or new methods of learning. This left the majority of learners either not challenged or falling behind in the subject matter.
At Ivy Learning we are combining proven methods for how every learner can expand their focus, memory, problem solving and attention to detail.
Every learner is helped through core subjects of reading, writing and math to help achieve their potential. Our fun and interactive process helps students work 1-on-1 with their teacher to get and stay ahead in their learning.
